Beach #1: Jimbaran Beach – A Serene Start
We kicked off our journey at Jimbaran Beach, just a short ride from many accommodations in South Bali. Unlike some of the more touristy beaches, Jimbaran offers a peaceful morning vibe—perfect for watching local fishermen bring in their fresh catch.

Balangan Beach, just a 20-minute ride from Jimbaran, is a must-visit for surfers and adventure seekers. The view from the cliff before descending to the beach is breathtaking—a wide crescent of golden sand framed by turquoise waves.

- Surfing: Waves here are perfect for intermediate and advanced surfers.
- Photo spots: The cliffs above the beach offer a stunning panoramic view.
- Relax on a sunbed (IDR 50,000/day) and sip on fresh coconut juice.
Insider Tip: Balangan remains quieter in the mornings. If you’re not into surfing, visit before 10 AM to enjoy the beach before the crowds arrive.

Beach #3: Bingin Beach – Hidden Bohemian Vibes
Our next destination, Bingin Beach, took a bit more effort to reach. The road leading to it was narrow, and after parking, we had to descend a steep staircase through guesthouses and cafes.
What Makes Bingin Beach Special?
- Chilled-out atmosphere, perfect for sunbathing and watching the sunset.
- Cute beachfront cafes like Kelly’s Warung, offering delicious smoothie bowls.
- Great for surfers, but also a nice place for a sunset beer.

Finding parking here can be tricky. We parked at a small lot near The Temple Lodge for IDR 5,000. Make sure to lock your bike!
Beach #4: Uluwatu Beach – Legendary Cliffs & Waves
We couldn’t miss Uluwatu Beach, a legendary spot famous for its epic waves and dramatic cliffs. It’s also home to the famous Uluwatu Temple, where monkeys rule the area (watch your belongings!).

We took a coffee break at Manja Cafe, just 400 meters from the beach. The highlight? Their swimming pool access—a perfect way to cool down after a hot ride!
Beach #5: Melasti Beach – The Grand Finale
Our last stop was Melasti Beach, located in southern Bali. The dramatic limestone cliffs and clear waters make it one of the most picturesque beaches on the island. The ride here was stunning, with winding roads revealing breathtaking ocean views.
